Extensions

IoTool supports sensors with many sensor readings, actions control, different actuators, different types of triggers and cloud sync / dashboard / analytic through a flexible extensions system. A sensor, virtual sensor, algorithm, trigger, action or cloud sync uses its own extension (similar like printer drivers). External developers can develop their own extension (usually extension can be made in hours) and their own UI for any type of IoT solutions.

Supported extension types:

Sensors  
Sensor extensions are separate programs which communicate with IoTool. Every sensor or sensor group has its own extension.  
Virtual Sensors  
Virtual sensor extensions are separate programs which communicate with IoTool. Virtual sensors are algorithms using data from sensors, internal database or cloud. For example: ECG Feature extraction, energy comsumption, activity recognition.  
Triggers Trigger extensions are separate programs which communicate with IoTool. Actions 
Action extensions are separate programs which communicate with IoTool.    
Cloud  
Cloud extensions are separate programs which communicate with IoTool.
